Love & Marriage

July 27, 2010

This past weekend, a couple of our friends from college got married (Mitch’s best man from our wedding to be exact!) It was such a beautiful ceremony and…what can we say?  We love Grove City weddings!  It is so refreshing to see two people who love the Lord so much start their life together in such a way that glorifies Him.  Colossians 3:1-3 was read during their wedding and I think it is just the perfect way to start a marriage…

“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.”

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Muetzel!

In other news…Mitch and I will have been married 1 year in just under 2 weeks!  I can hardly wait!  In his usual romantic way, Mitch is planning something but won’t let me in on any details.  I am one of those people that absolutely LOVES surprises but just isn’t patient enough to wait for them!  I feel so blessed to have been married to him for these past 351 days and can’t wait to celebrate 1 year!
